"Come Walk With Me"

Come walk with me into a place where you feel like you have been set back in time. I have a lady that come and helps me in my home two days a week. She came on Tuesday and told us that her daughter-in-law had gone into labor in the early hours of the morning and delivered a little baby boy. I immediately got ready and went with her to the hospital to see about the baby and mother. I had never been in the maternity ward of our Regional hospital here in our city, and my first time was a time of an everlasting experience. I have been in other parts of this hospital and they are equally heartbreaking. But when you see mothers laying on beds with just a bottom sheet and nothing to cover their selves and the heat will take your breath away. If they have anything to eat or drink it has to be brought in by the family. Some of the women had not had water to drink all day. I know it is just a way of life here, but a way that will just break your heart. I knew that this had to be an outreach ministry for W.I.N. I will start by going into the ward and visiting with the new mothers and praying with the ones who will allow me to and take water for their physical bodies and then give them the "Living Water". Jesus said, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a wel of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14) If I could just help them all here in the North Luzon, Philippines. I know if I can help and touch one at the time I have made a difference. With all the prayers and support you give to us, every life changed and the difference made in their lives, you are with us and have a part of this ministry. Thank you so much for trusting us as we trust Jesus Christ for guidance and watching to see where He is working and go to Him without haste. God Bless you all! And remember always "see with new eyes" God's compassion. (Please read the next post, I have something to share with you that is very personal) Your Sister in Christ, Diane
